Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is hiring a Medical Assistant in Exeter, NH. You will provide clerical, clinical, and business support under supervision in a multi-specialty practice with a strong patient-first focus. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required with CMA/RMA/CCMA certification within 6 months or credentialed via training.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire is required or via formal training program.
• Experience supporting clinical and administrative tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit work, obtain vital signs, and assist providers with examinations.
• Reconcile medications and ensure accurate documentation in the patient record.
• Greet patients, schedule visits, and manage phone portal messages the same day.
• Prepare rooms, stock supplies, and help with vaccines and follow-up calls.
• Submit orders for labs, referrals, and prescriptions as directed by providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to Core Physicians policies and safety standards.
• May scribe or document encounters and assist with care coordination as needed.
• Support other offices as staffing needs arise and participate in team huddles.
• Contribute to care metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
