Job summary

Medical Assistant role at Hampton Health Internal Medicine, part of Core Physicians under Beth Israel Lahey Health, is located in Seacoast NH. The position offers a 7:30am–6:00pm weekday schedule (Mon–Fri) with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and benefits starting day one.

Responsibilities include clinical tasks, patient flow management, vaccine administration, and coordination of tests and referrals, with opportunity for education support and professional growth within a physician-led network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, obtaining vital signs, providing medication reconciliation, and assisting providers with examinations and/or procedures.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Respond to patient phone and portal messages on the same day.
• Use standing protocols to complete pre-visit work, close gaps in care, administer vaccines, and complete prescription refills.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic testing and place follow-up calls to patients after surgery.
• Perform daily administrative duties such as greeting/check-in/check-out, scheduling, answering calls, organizing charts, filing/records, and handling co-pays and payments.
