Job summary

Core Physicians, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Medical Assistant in Exeter, NH. The role supports clerical, clinical and business tasks under supervision, with a focus on pre-visit work, vital signs and patient coordination.

You'll work in a physician-led, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth, on a standard weekday schedule and with a sign-on bonus. Vaccination is required and benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CMA/RMA/CCMA certification or registration required or within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties such as pre-visit work, vital signs, medication reconciliation, and assisting providers.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments; stock exam rooms.
• Handle patient portal messages the same day per protocol.
• Complete pre-visit work, vaccinations, and prescription refills using standing protocols.
• Schedule pre-admission and diagnostic tests; follow-up calls post-surgery.
• Greet and check-in/out patients, manage scheduling and records.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and safety; participate in daily huddles.
• May scribe; document encounters, order labs and referrals, and prescriptions.
• Monitor team metrics; support other Core Offices as needed.
