NextCare Urgent Care seeks a energetic Medical Assistant to work in a fast-paced clinic environment. You will support providers with exams, handle patient vitals, and assist with a range of direct patient care activities under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved MA training program, with eligibility or certification in national MA programs. Strong EMR/EHR skills are required.

Formación

• Completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program.
• National certification or eligibility per state requirements.
• CPR/first aid knowledge and patient care skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers with exams, take vitals, and support patient care under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collection as needed.
• Handle front office tasks when required and document in EMR/EHR.
• Maintain laboratory protocols, quality control, and COLA-related readiness.
• Communicate promptly with the clinic manager about safety concerns.
