Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Training Coach to lead hands-on, competency-based training for Medical Assistants across centers in the market. You will partner with Learning and Operations teams to onboard, mentor, and upskill clinical staff while traveling to assigned centers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Training, coaching, or teaching experience.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on, competency-based MA training.
• Assess and validate MA competencies for new hires and transfers.
• Conduct center and department onboarding and orientation.
• Facilitate workshops and backup classroom training.
• Complete training documentation and competency assessments using approved digital tools.
• Travel within the assigned market to support centers and new hires.
