Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care in Missouri seeks a Training Coach to partner with learning and operations to deliver onboarding and ongoing skills training for medical staff across multiple clinics. The role requires travel between Des Peres, Manchester, Kirkwood, and Chesterfield, providing hands-on coaching and ensuring competency.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assistant Program preferred.
• 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience under a licensed healthcare supervisor within the last 3 years preferred.
• CPOE certification must be obtained within two weeks of hire if MA certification is not obtained upon hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using Electronic Health Record (EHR).
• Urgent care experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate team members’ technical skill competencies using pre-approved methods.
• Conduct orientation for new hires to cover predetermined learning items.
• Train and mentor team members to predetermined competency levels.
• Provide in-center coaching to new hires on core competencies.
• Travel to sites to train market new hires; cover evenings and weekends as needed.
• Assist in maintaining Airtable compliance and documentation.
• Perform patient registration, scheduling, and insurance verification as part of training.
• Lead clinical refresher training and competency evaluations.
• Maintain equipment QA/QC logs and report issues.
• Collaborate with Learning team leaders for program improvements.
