Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is hiring a Training Coach – Medical Assistant to support onboarding and skill development for new hires across our urgent care centers. You’ll implement competency-based training, conduct orientations, and coach teammates to ensure high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates bring MA certification, clinical terminology skills, and prior experience with electronic health records. This role requires flexibility to travel between sites and a commitment to patient-centered

Qualifications

• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or MA experience under supervision.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and patient care workflow.
• Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate team members’ technical skill competencies using approved methods.
• Conduct orientation for new hires and department onboarding.
• Provide in-center coaching to new hires and ongoing training across sites.
• Maintain Airtable compliance and document competency checklists.
• Coordinate market training needs and assist in updating training materials.
• Perform patient registration related tasks as needed and support front desk operations.
