Job summary

The role requires leading staff, ensuring HIPAA compliance, maintaining patient safety, and supporting clinical quality initiatives while improving patient access and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program from an accredited institution or current MA certification.
• At least 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Proficiency in EKG and phlebotomy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MA staff and patient care activities at the Faculty Group Practice site.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule MA activities; supervise attendance and payroll for direct reports.
• Mentor MA/PCA staff and ensure cross-training and coverage.
• Enforce policies including HIPAA and regulatory guidelines; improve patient flow and access.
