Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversees Medical Assistant staff and associated patient care activities.
• Resolves employee issues and addresses procedure and performance related issues; manages attendance, schedules, and sick time changes.
• Plans, coordinates and schedules the activities of the medical assistants; participates in interdisciplinary patient care planning; acts as back-up MA as needed.
• Serves as liaison between clinical staff and physicians to ensure effective service for patients; maintains productive working relationships.
• Ensures suites are properly staffed to avoid provider delays and maintains patient flow and access.
