Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant in MA to balance patient needs and support physicians across procedures. You’ll ensure a smooth workflow and deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced clinic.

Eligible candidates bring 1–2 years of clinical experience, MA training or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred, and bilingual English/Spanish skills. Schedule is Monday–Friday with locations in West Roxbury & Lynn; compensation is $21–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years hands-on clinical experience as Medical Assistant or similar.
• Experience performing vital signs, rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.
• MA training program completion or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, ensuring welcoming, positive experiences.
• Document vital signs and medical histories in EMR/EHR.
• Assist physician with procedures before, during, and after.
• Maintain efficient clinic workflow and high-quality patient service.
• Use EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
• Support care across healthcare settings as needed.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures - before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Locations: West Roxbury & Lynn, MA
• Compensation: $21-$25/hr
• Bilingual Requirement: Must be fluent in English & Spanish

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR)
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments
• Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required
• Bilingual Required - English & Spanish
