Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic workflow. You will support physicians during procedures and ensure an excellent service experience for every patient.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, recording vitals, performing phlebotomy and EKGs, and documenting interactions in EMR/EHR systems. Fluency in English and Spanish is required to succeed in a fast-paced, bilingual environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role is required.
  • Experience with vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection is required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA/RMA/CCMA certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming patient experience.
  • Document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, and specimen collection.
  • Accurately document patient interactions using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing high patient volume in a fast-paced clinic.
  • Use EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks.
  • Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health settings.
  • Leverage bilingual skills to support patient interactions.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday
  • Locations: Trenton, Marlton & Philadelphia (Bustleton) clinics.
  • Compensation: $21-$25/hr
  • Bilingual Requirement: Must be fluent in English & Spanish
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
  • 1-2 years of hands‑on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician),required.
  • Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or currentCMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
