Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient office workflow, while supporting physicians in procedures before, during, and after. You will help ensure an excellent service experience for patients.

Position involves greeting and rooming patients, performing vital signs and phlebotomy, and documenting in EMR/EHR. Valid CMA/RMA/CCMA preferred; bilingual English/Spanish required in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or similar role, required.
  • Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, room, and assist patients on arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
  • Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the EMR/EHR.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, within training scope.
  • Document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care across physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:
  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday; occasional Friday
  • Locations: West Valley City and Holladay clinics
  • Compensation: $21-$24/hr
  • Bilingual Required: Fluent in English & Spanish
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
  • Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
  • Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.
  • Leverage bilingual communication skills to support patient interactions when applicable.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 1-2 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar direct patient care role (e.g., Medical Assistant externship, CNA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, or Patient Care Technician), required.
  • Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection, required.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
  • Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, required.
