Cook Children's Health Care System in Arlington, TX is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Sleep Medicine Clinic to support ambulatory patient care in collaboration with physicians and APPs. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:00 pm.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited MA program or hold current MA certification, with a current BLS certification; national certification preferred. This role offers a pediatric-focused team in a Texas-based environment.

Medical Assistant -Sleep Medicine Clinic

The Medical Assistant will function in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or advanced practice provider(s) in an ambulatory care setting. Assists in the preparation and delivery of ambulatory patient care as directed by provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Skillfully and consistently performs clinical duties per established departmental policies and procedures. The care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on good customer relations.

Schedule:Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Education and Experience

• Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification required.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• Current BLS Certification required.
• National certification preferred.
