Cook Children's Health Care System in Texas is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Sleep Medicine Clinic. The MA will work with physicians and advanced providers in ambulatory care, prepare and deliver patient care, follow established policies, and emphasize compassionate customer relations in every interaction.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm. Education: graduate of an accredited MA program or current MA certification.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited MA program or current MA certification.
• Current BLS certification required.
• National certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in ambulatory patient care under provider direction.
• Prepare and deliver patient care per policies and nursing process.
• Support collaboration with physicians and licensed clinical staff.
• Maintain good customer relations in every interaction.

Medical Assistant -Sleep Medicine Clinic

The Medical Assistant will function in collaborative practice with physician(s) and/or advanced practice provider(s) in an ambulatory care setting. Assists in the preparation and delivery of ambulatory patient care as directed by provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Skillfully and consistently performs clinical duties per established departmental policies and procedures. The care is based on the nursing process and augments the medical plan of treatment appropriate to the ambulatory care setting with an emphasis on good customer relations.

Schedule:Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm

Education and Experience

• Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification required.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• Current BLS Certification required.
• National certification preferred.
