Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification is required.
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Requires strong computer skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and recording symptoms.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures, perform phlebotomy and EKGs when needed.
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; communicate test results.
• Provide clerical support for medical records and billing information.
• Maintain clean and disinfected clinical areas and equipment; manage supplies.
