Job summary

Banner Health's Page Clinic in Page, AZ is hiring a Medical Assistant for a day shift (M-F, 8:00 am–5:30 pm) with no weekend work. Located at 601 N Navajo Drive, the clinic emphasizes a positive patient experience and teamwork while supporting a broad patient age range.

The role involves assisting clinicians, managing patient flow, and coordinating care, with on-site duties and active certification requirements including BLS. A sign-on bonus program is available to new hires.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required and BLS.
• Strong computer skills and experience with medical software (EMR).
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required for certain sites.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams by taking vital signs and recording chief complaints.
• Assist providers with exams and minor procedures and document patient data.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, and scheduling; relay test results to patients.
• Provide clerical support and ensure complete medical records and billing information.
• Maintain clean and sterile exam rooms and equipment; handle supplies and inventory.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and external contacts; support team environment.
• Participate in onboarding and simulation training as required.
