Banner Health in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to work with patients after check-in and support vascular care services in a dynamic hospital setting.

The position offers a day shift (7:00 AM–4:30 PM) with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for certified experienced MAs and a path to certification advancement. Minimum qualifications include an accredited MA program diploma and BLS; preferred certification from AAMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MA diploma from accredited program and BLS Provider.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA/ CMA/ CCMA/ NCMA) required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required; additional screening.
• Requires strong computer skills and good communication.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patient for exam; take vital signs and document chief complaint.
• Assist with exams and minor procedures; take BP, temp, EKG, phlebotomy; act as chaperone.
• Coordinate pre-certifications, referrals, authorizations, and scheduling; communicate test results.
• Provide clerical support and maintain medical records; ensure timely billing information.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and sterilize equipment; follow OSHA guidelines.
• Order supplies and manage medications and recalls; assist with inventory.
• Develops communication with patients and staff; participate in onboarding and simulation training.
• Works under supervision of providers and coordinates with multiple departments.
