Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completed Banner-approved medical assistant training program.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification and BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for exam by taking vital signs and recording measurements.
• Assist with exams and minor procedures and document results.
• Coordinate referrals, scheduling and test results with providers.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accurate billing information.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and manage supplies.
• Order supplies and manage medication recalls as directed.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Complete onboarding activities and work under provider supervision.
• Prioritize data from multiple sources to support patient care.
