Banner Health Sun City location is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join the Banner Staffing Services registry. This role supports clinicians and nursing staff, performs vital signs, medications, and basic procedures, and ensures patient comfort and safety.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
• Completion of Banner-approved medical assistant training program that meets state regulations.
• Active Medical Assistant Certification required (RMA, CMA, CCMA or NCMA).
• BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong computer and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepares patient for exam by recording vital signs and chief complaint.
• Assists providers with exams and minor in-office procedures including phlebotomy and EKGs.
• Coordinates referrals, authorizations, prescriptions and scheduling of tests and visits.
• Maintains medical records and supports billing with accurate documentation.
• Keeps exam rooms clean, disinfected and stocked; handles supplies as directed.
• Develops clear communication with patients and teammates to ensure smooth care.
