Job summary

Banner University Medical Group in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Medical Assistant to support neurosurgery clinic operations. You will room patients, take vitals, assist with procedures, and update electronic medical records, delivering friendly, efficient care.

Qualifications

Completion of Banner approved Medical Assistant program.
Uncertified Medical Assistants may be considered and have 12 months to become nationally certified.
Customer service experience preferably in a medical office.

Responsibilities

Performs rooming, takes vitals, assists with procedures and updates EMR accurately.
Handles front desk tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, referrals and check-in/check-out.
Maintains medical records and supports clinical staff in the outpatient clinic.
Ensures patient confidentiality and delivers excellent customer service.
Assists with insurance verification and billing support as needed.
