Hometown Urgent Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Receptionist to support healthcare delivery by performing front and back-end administrative tasks and basic medical assisting to ensure smooth patient flow.

You will register patients, verify insurance, answer calls, handle payments, and assist clinicians across multiple care centers within the designated region. A high school diploma and EMR familiarity are required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years experience in a physician practice or clinic preferred.
• Basic computer skills including EMR familiarity.
• Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and visitors with compassion and provide exceptional service.
• Register patients with demographics, insurance and payment information.
• Handle payments including applicable co-pays.
• Answer a multi-line phone system.
• Perform basic medical assisting duties to support patient flow.
• Travel to care centers within designated region.
• Daily reconciliation of monies collected.
• Protect patient confidentiality of personal and financial information.
• Perform occupational medicine testing such as urine drug screens and breath alcohol testing.
• Stock and clean the site with the team and train others.
• Fully support all service lines under the Urgent Care Specialists network.
