Job summary

Hometown Urgent Care & Occupational Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Receptionist to support both clinical and administrative tasks. You will welcome patients, register visits, verify insurance, and handle payments to ensure smooth patient flow and service excellence.

The role includes basic medical assisting duties, occupational medicine testing, and occasional travel to care centers within the region. A high school diploma and EMR basics are required; clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a physician practice or clinic preferred (1-2 years).
• Basic computer skills including EMR usage.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and visitors with compassion and provide service.
• Register patients with demographics, insurance, and payment details.
• Handle payments including co-pays.
• Answer multi-line phone system.
• Perform basic medical assisting and occupational medicine duties as needed.
• Travel to care centers within designated region.
