Excelsia Injury Care in Nevada seeks a Medical Assistant/Physical Therapy Technician to support the PT team and chiropractors. You will greet patients, manage check-in/out, and document in the EHR, helping maintain smooth patient flow and accurate records.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, fluency in Spanish and English, strong communication and organizational skills, and basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, data entry).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Fluency in Spanish and English required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of medical office procedures.
• Ability to triage patients and take basic vitals.
• Ability to interact with doctors, patients and co-workers.
• Prior computer skills: data entry, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapy team with patients.
• Greet patients and check in/out with proper customer service etiquette.
• Follow up with confirmation calls and no-show calls.
• Update the EHR and manage hospital records, faxes, and emails.
• Prepare patients for exams and support chiropractors with documentation workflows.
• Coordinate administrative and non-clinical support for chiropractic providers.
• Obtain prior authorizations and ensure complete documentation before treatment.
• Serve as a liaison between providers and patients for appointment coordination.
