Job summary

Excelsia Injury Care seeks a certified Chiropractic Assistant to support chiropractors across locations in Utah. You'll assist patients, take vital signs, document modalities, and help with scheduling and office operations while ensuring high-quality patient care.

Spanish language is required for this role, and a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid certification, and at least one year of office experience in physical therapy or chiropractic care are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Spanish is mandatory.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification required.
• 1 year of office experience in physical therapy and/or chiropractic care.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients pre and post care under the DC.
• Take vital signs of patients.
• Document modalities performed and patient progress notes.
• Maintain cleanliness of exam and treatment rooms at all times.
• Monitor controls on physical therapy equipment.
• Launder towels, gowns, heat pack covers, etc. as required.
• Maintain inventory and order supplies.
• Assist in general office operations such as filing, chart prep, phones, patient registration, posting charges, scanning, etc.
• Travel to other locations as directed to cover multiple sites.
• Assist chiropractors by preparing patients for exams and updating medical records.
• Coordinate scheduling and prior authorizations to ensure complete documentation before treatment.
