Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our Indianapolis team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care, act as the initial point of contact at check-in, and support both clinical and administrative tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The role requires graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year of MA experience, preferably in primary care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant or in a primary care setting.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where state rules apply.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, assist with procedures and immunizations as directed.
• Perform front-desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals and intake workflows.
• Coordinate with labs and manage test results and patient communications.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for clinical procedures and treatments.
