Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at the Indianapolis clinic. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, performing duties from front desk to clinical support.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and helping coordinate care across the patient journey within a value-based care model. A formal MA program and CPR/BLS are required at start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred/required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Maintain medical records and coordinate labs/test results communications.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
