Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant in Greenfield, IN to support both front desk and clinical duties. The role involves taking vitals, phlebotomy, injections, wound care, and assisting the primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and a welcoming guest experience.

The ideal candidate has MA program completion, CPR/BLS at start date, and preferred phlebotomy experience, with opportunities in a value-based primary care model.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program is required.
• National or state MA certification/registration strongly preferred / required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date. Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals and coordination.
• Support care team to address gaps in patient care and coordinate tests.
