Job summary

Marathon Health seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in primary care settings. You will assist clinicians, manage vitals and injections, and ensure a smooth patient flow from reception to exam rooms.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year MA experience, MA program completion, CPR/BLS, and possibly phlebotomy. Excellent patient interaction and teamwork are essential in our value-based care model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration is strongly preferred and may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections and assist with procedures.
• Record exam data and coordinate with labs and providers for tests and results.
• Perform front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals and check-in/out.

Skills

Medical Assistant experience

CPR/BLS certification

Phlebotomy experience

Education
