Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, while serving as both receptionist and clinical support.

Requirements include 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, MA certification/registration, CPR/BLS, and preferred phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Medical Assistant (primary care preferred).
• Graduation from an MA program or related training.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred where required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals and assist with procedures.
• Collect specimens and coordinate with labs as needed.
• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
