Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and create an exceptional guest experience for our patients.

The role combines clinical responsibilities with front desk duties, ensuring a seamless patient journey from check-in to treatment. A formal MA program completion and state certification are preferred; CPR/BLS is required at start date.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care and assist with procedures.
• Record data accurately in the medical record per guidelines.
• Coordinate tests with contracted labs and relay results to patients.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, referrals, and medical record requests.
