ProHealth Physicians in Connecticut is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Family Practice care team in Middletown. This full-time role (40 hours/week, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with one closing shift to 6:00 PM based on staffing) includes patient intake, phlebotomy and accurate documentation in the EHR.

You will collaborate with clinicians to ensure smooth office operations, provide compassionate patient care, and help manage scheduling and care coordination with Epic familiarity preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program OR 2+ years of aide or tech level work in healthcare.
• Experience with Epic and primary care is preferred.
• Intermediate computer proficiency and excellent patient communication.

Aufgaben

• Provide patient care, clinical summary and direction on next steps or follow up.
• Perform phlebotomy for patients as needed.
• Prepare patients for visits by collecting and recording clinical information.
• Schedule tests, treatments and follow up visits; assist with referrals as needed.
• Document all patient interactions in the EHR and maintain patient confidentiality.
