ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team in Middletown, CT. The role includes patient intake, coordinating tests, phlebotomy, and documentation in the EHR, with a focus on patient-centered care.

The position is full-time (40 hours/week), Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with one closing shift to 6:00 PM as needed. Prior MA training or military medical training preferred; Epic experience and CT scope knowledge are

Qualificações

• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program OR completed relevant medical assisting training by the US Armed Forces OR 2+ years of aide/tech level healthcare experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care, clinical summary and direction on next steps.
• Perform phlebotomy for patients as needed.
• Assist care team and collect/record clinical information per protocol.
• Schedule tests, treatments and follow-ups; assist with referrals.
