ProHealth Physicians, part of Optum, seeks a Family Practice Medical Assistant in Middletown, CT. This full-time role supports patient care in a busy family practice with 40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with one closing shift to 6:00 PM as needed.

Responsibilities include patient intake, phlebotomy, documenting in EHR, coordinating tests, and assisting providers in a team-focused environment. Connecticut MA scope applies.

Formación

• Graduate of Accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent training or 2+ years of aide/tech healthcare experience.
• CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Certification as Medical Assistant (AAMA/NHA/NCCT/AMT) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide patient care and clinical support according to protocols.
• Document patient interactions accurately in the EHR.
• Schedule tests and referrals and coordinate with care team.
