Job summary

ArchWell Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support our primary care teams in Omaha. The MA will greet patients, measure vital signs, collect medical histories, perform routine screenings, and assist the PCP during visits.

The role requires compassionate patient care, strong communication, and proficiency with EMR systems. The candidate should have a Medical Assistant program credential, BLS, and at least one year of MA experience. We value geriatric care experience and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year Medical Assistant experience.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• EMR experience with EClinical Works or similar.

Responsibilities

• Perform intake with patients, measuring vital signs, taking medical history and conducting routine screenings.
• Assist PCP during appointments and coordinate with other clinical staff.
• Handle patient communications, messages and follow-ups.
• Change dressings, apply bandages, and perform basic first aid under supervision.
• Maintain OSHA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Provide health coaching and follow-up with assigned patients.
