Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional guest experience, performing clinical duties and front-desk responsibilities as part of a unified care team.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from a MA program, and state or national MA certification. CPR/BLS is required at start date; phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Formal Medical Assistant program graduation is required.
• MA certification/registration is preferred and may be required by some states.
• CPR/BLS certification is required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
• Document accurately in the medical record and communicate care plans.
