Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team. The MA collaborates with a primary care physician to deliver outstanding patient care and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where mandated.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Review medical information and update health data for the provider.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, dress wounds, assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as ordered by the provider.
• Collaborate with the care team to create patient care plans and address gaps in care.
