Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our on-site care team. The role supports a primary care physician, functioning as both Medical Receptionist and clinical assistant to deliver high-quality patient care and an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include vitals, injections, phlebotomy, and front-desk duties while coordinating with labs and providers to ensure smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections; work with contracted labs for tests.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out, etc.
• Record data in the medical record per documentation guidelines.
