Job summary

Marathon Health Inc in Greenwood, IN is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a welcoming guest experience, combining reception duties with clinical responsibilities in a unique care model.

Requirements include graduation from an MA program, CPR/BLS certification, and at least 1 year of MA experience; certification/registration preferred or required by state.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred; required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and support procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by the Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out, and documentation.
• Maintain accurate data in the medical record and communicate results to patients.
