Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team in Greenwood, IN. The MA works closely with a primary care physician to deliver patient care and a top-notch guest experience.

The role combines clinical assistance with front-d desk duties, ensuring a smooth patient journey from check-in to follow-up. Prior MA experience and CPR/BLS are preferred; phlebotomy experience is a plus. This on-site position offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred. MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at time of start date
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred

Responsabilités

• Escort patients to room and ensure that exam rooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds, assist with procedures; work with labs for additional tests.
• Prepares and administers approved medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, medical record requests and abstraction, documentation and referrals.
• Records accurate data in the medical record following documentation guidelines.
• Process test results and communicate results to patients as directed by the provider.
• Participate in outreach to patients to drive engagement among eligible groups.
