Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and provide an exceptional guest experience, handling both clinical tasks and front-desk responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, graduated from an MA program, and hold MA/CPR-BLS certification. We offer comprehensive benefits and a patient-centric, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or other related program.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, bandage wounds and assist with procedures.
• Coordinate with labs for additional tests and document results in the medical record.
• Front desk duties including scheduling, chart requests, referrals and check-in/out.
