Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our care team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver excellent patient care and a warm guest experience, serving as both a Medical Receptionist and clinical support.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and coordinating scheduling and documentation to support the care team. A formal MA program graduate with CPR/BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and keep rooms clean and stocked.
• Review patient health information and update provider with changes.
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per Provider orders.
• Handle front desk tasks: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
