Job summary

Marathon Health Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our on-site team. The MA will work closely with a primary care physician to provide patient-centered care and a seamless guest experience, covering both clinical and front desk duties.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification. Phlebotomy experience is preferred. Competitive benefits and a supportive work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration is preferred; required in states where certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, assist with procedures and draw blood when needed.
• Administer medications and immunizations as ordered by Provider.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, chart requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Record data in medical records and communicate results to patients.
• Participate in outreach to engage eligible patient groups.
