Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as Medical Assistant (preferred in Primary Care)
• Graduation from a formal MA program or related program
• National or state MA certification/registration preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date
• Phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are clean and stocked
• Take vitals, draw blood, administer injections, assist with procedures
• Prepare and administer medications and vaccines per provider orders
• Front desk duties: scheduling, medical record requests, referrals, check-in/check-out
