Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 1 year of MA experience, graduation from an MA program, and CPR/BLS certification at start date. Phlebotomy experience is preferred; MA certification is preferred where required by state.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience as Medical Assistant.
• Graduate from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• MA certification/registration preferred; required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification at start date required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and check-in/check-out.
