Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for our Lakeland, FL health center. The role supports a primary care team, performing clinical duties and front-desk tasks to ensure a smooth, patient‑centered visit.

Expect 4 ten-hour shifts Mon-Fri (6am-5pm or 7am-6pm) with rotating Saturdays (7am-12pm). Competitive benefits start day one, PTO, free scrubs, and hourly pay in the $21–$25 range.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms and ensure rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care.
• Assist with procedures and tests with physicians and labs.
• Handle front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals, and coordination of care.
• Document accurately in medical records and communicate results to patients.
