Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC in Tavares, FL is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our primary care team. The Medical Assistant will support a primary care physician, perform vitals, collect patient information, and help with injections, phlebotomy, and routine clinical tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

This role combines front desk duties with clinical responsibilities, including scheduling, record requests, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in Primary Care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification or registration preferred/required where applicable.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, wound care, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, record requests, referrals, and check-in/out.
• Prepare and administer medications/immunizations as directed by Provider.
• Maintain supplies and assist with care coordination and follow-up.
• Document data accurately in medical records and communicate results.
