Ascension St. Vincent's in Jacksonville, FL seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support physicians during exams and procedures.

You will prepare treatment rooms, document vital signs and histories, and handle clinical logistics and basic clerical tasks on-site during daytime shifts. Minimum requirements include a BLS Provider credential within 30 days of hire and a high school diploma or equivalent (or 1 year of relevant experience).

Competenze

• BLS Provider credential within 1 month of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Preferred CMA/MA certification and related credentials (AAMA, MA Certification, CMA, RMA) accepted.
• State of FL registration as a BMO Operator preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Preferred Credential(s):
• Certified Medical Assistant credentialed from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). Nat'l Medical Assistant (MA) Certification - CMA (Cert. Medical Assistant), RMA (Registered Medical Assistant)/AAMA Cert. (American Association of Medical Assistants). NCCT, AAMA, or AMT are acceptable certification sites. Completion of Basic Machine Operators (BMO) cert. preferred. Current registration with State of FL as a BMO Operator preferred.
• Medical Assistant.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
