MHMR of Tarrant County seeks a Medical Assistant Preceptor to supervise and train clinic staff within Child & Family Services. You will oversee Medical Assistant duties, ensure collaboration with medical and administrative teams, and uphold critical healthcare competencies for youth in care.

The role emphasizes a nurturing, trauma-informed approach to build resiliency and professional growth among staff while delivering patient-centered behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Preference: Spanish fluency and two years of experience.
• Years' Experience: One year.
• License/Certifications: Valid Texas Driver's License and Medical Assistant certificate (CMA/AAMA, RMA/AMT, CCMA/NHA, or NRCMA/NAHP).

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and support the Medical Assistant clinic staff in Child & Family Services.
• Oversee Medical Assistant duties and coordinate with clinic medical and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare competencies at clinics serving youth ages 6–18.
• Use a nurturing, trauma-informed approach to strengthen youth resiliency while in care.
