Houston Methodist is seeking a Senior Medical Assistant Certified to provide expert clinical support under physician and nurse supervision. The role includes assisting with examinations, procedures, and dressing changes, while ensuring compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, and NCQA standards.

The Sr. MA will also take on preceptor responsibilities, schedule appointments, verify medical necessity, and train other Medical Assistants, contributing to high-quality patient care in a busy clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Must have strong clinical communication skills and ability to document accurately in EMR.
• Ability to perform delegated MA duties under physician/nurse supervision.
• Demonstrates knowledge of medical practice and patient care processes.
