Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Bannockburn, IL. This full-time role supports physicians with front desk operations, patient registration, and basic vitals, with occasional phlebotomy/injections as needed.

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, travel to other locations may be required. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and at least 1 year of medical office experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; MA certification preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in a medical office or related field; on-the-job training provided for those without prior MA training.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and route calls.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar.
• Collect co-payments and verify insurance details.
• Complete patient registration and greet patients at check-in.
• Provide front office support to physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients and document visits.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight) and other duties as needed.
